TERMS OF SERVICE · REVIEW DRAFT

Clear expectations.
A thoughtful start.

Draft dated October 15, 2026, for review before paid or public enrollment. Harbor Church Hub is a working business name in Oregon and is not represented here as an LLC or corporation. The contracting party, business contact address and final agreement are not yet finalized. This page does not enroll you in a paid plan.

Using Harbor

Harbor provides church administration, communication and recordkeeping tools. Church owners must be adults authorized to act for their church. Owners are responsible for invitations, role assignments, the accuracy of records and their church’s use of the service. Use your own Google account and protect access to it.

Your church’s records

Your church and its users retain their rights in their content. The proposed agreement will grant Harbor only the permissions needed to host, process, transmit and back up that content to provide and support the service. Churches are responsible for providing required privacy notices, obtaining permissions and respecting individuals’ rights. Do not upload content you have no right to use, malicious files or unlawfully collected information.

Private pilot and proposed price

Current pilot churches have free access with no automatic conversion to a paid plan. The proposed Harbor Essentials plan is $49 USD per church per month, without per-person charges. Final capacity limits, applicable taxes and terms will be shown before a church owner explicitly subscribes. Test billing does not charge real money or change pilot access.

Proposed renewal and cancellation

When live billing is introduced, subscriptions will renew monthly until canceled. Owners will be able to cancel through the billing portal before renewal, with access continuing through the paid period unless the account is suspended for misuse. There will be no annual commitment. The final agreement must specify refunds, failed-payment grace periods, taxes, price-change notice and post-cancellation export and retention periods before any live subscription is sold. Pilot users can contact support to leave at any time.

Donations, accounting and payroll

A Harbor subscription pays for software access and is separate from a donation to a church. Church payments will require a supported payment-provider connection. The current release does not process live donations, move bank funds, file taxes or pay staff. Records, reports and giving summaries require church review. Harbor does not determine charitable eligibility or replace the church’s accountant, payroll provider or legal adviser.

Support and availability

Pilot support is by email with no guaranteed response time or uptime commitment. Backups run daily and are configured for 35-day retention. Recovery is assisted by an operator, depends on a completed backup and may omit later changes. Backups are held in the same Cloudflare account as the service. Maintain any independent copies your church requires.

Acceptable use and suspension

Do not attempt to access another church’s records, bypass permissions, distribute malware, harass users or use Harbor unlawfully. Harbor may restrict access to address misuse, security incidents or legal requirements. Where practical, the final agreement should provide notice and a route to resolve the issue. Contact support about export or deletion before closing your church workspace.

Before public launch

The operator’s legal identity and contact address, U.S. privacy obligations, data-processing terms, reasonable liability provisions, dispute process and governing law must be reviewed and finalized. Oregon is the operator’s home state; this draft does not remove mandatory rights that may apply elsewhere in the United States. Final terms will require explicit acceptance, with a stored version and timestamp, before paid registration is enabled.
